Empowering Health and Healing
This foundation began in honor of our Guru “Shree Ratilal Borisagar” and comprises of doctors, Businessmen, Teachers and prominent individuals all of whom have benefited under his guidance. Each one of us had a desire to involve ourselves in an activity, which could be beneficial for humanity in general. There is much poverty, especially in the small villages and lack of basic healthcare. Even if a patient is taken to a bigger town, the expense for healthcare are so high that is not possible for a common man to arrange for such funds. As a result the underprivileged people are deprived of the healthcare which they deserve.
We therefore came up with the idea of this healthcare project in Savarkundla which would provide the best of medical & Health Services to everyone without any bias or discrimination and that too absolutely free of cost. In short, this is a fully functional hospital without a Bill Book.
We presented this concept first to Shree Ratilal Borisagar Sir who immediately gave his consent. Today even though he is more than 75 Years old, Shree Borisagar Sir is extremely active in our Foundation and everything is done as per his guidance and blessing only.
An NGO in Savarkundla, “Kundla Taluka Gram Seva Mandal” were kind enough to lend their support by giving us permission to use their Land & Building free of cost. This building was renovated by our Foundation and they have helped us begin the 1st Phase of this Healthcare Project.
